About Me

Welcome to my professional website! This is where I write about things that I’m passionate about but that don’t necessarily fit in an academic journal article or libguide.

A bit about me:

I am a medical librarian, and work as the Berkman Librarian for the University of Ottawa Heart Institute. I am a graduate of the Master of Library and Information Management Studies (MLIS) program at Dalhousie University.

Over the last few years, I’ve worked at a couple of really interesting places. These include the Canadian Agency for Drugs and Technologies in Health (CADTH) in Ottawa (ON), and the Maritime SPOR SUPPORT Unit (MSSU) in Halifax (NS) (among others!).

You can see more of my work and education history here: www.linkedin.com/in/sarahvisintini

When I’m not wearing my medical librarian hat, I am a shameless book nerd, craft beer sampler, knitter, and fair weather cyclist.
